"make column clickable" background link -
I added a plugin called "make column clickable". Now I can put a link on this background blue column and click the column instead of putting a link on the text.
The 4CTAs below are also setup with the background column links, so you can click the entire image instead of having to only click the text.
These 3CTAs are setup from the eVision homepage . (No widths are set up yet for laptop/mobile/tablet) . These are a simpler layout vs. the 4CTAs below.

These 4CTAs are setup from the Windham Golf Resort site that I created. I can copy and paste these to another site if I want to , so I won't have to set up the CTAS. So far I only set up the responsive sizing for Desktop and laptop (1280w) - I also have the "make column clickable" plugin added so the background images are clickable:

this background image has a white "background overlay" on it to cut off the right side of the image. It is a gradient adjusted to have a hard edge and 100% transparency

This is the same as above but this has 2 side by side columns . The one above uses a 55% left margin. this background image has a white "background overlay" on it to cut off the right side of the image. It is a gradient adjusted to have a hard edge and 100% transparency

This plugin doesn't have enough customizing options… plugin: "Essential Addons Advanced Tabs"
This tab layout won’t work because there is no way to set up for the client to edit the text from the dashboard and have it update automatically on the homepage. Also, there is no customization to set up 2 column layout, etc.:
